- All Select Shield vehicles will have special buyers’ guide with WARRANTY box checked.
- All Select Shield vehicles will have branded window clings and rear-view mirror hangers for attention getting point of sale material.
Select Shield Vehicle Criteria
- All used vehicles except:
- CERTIFIED & Near New Ford vehicles (i.e. 2015 or newer and under 15k miles)
- Domestic vehicles up to 140k miles, Import vehicles up to 160k miles, European vehicles up to 120k miles. This is a General Guideline.
- There will be certain vehicles and manufacturers that will not be branded as Select Shield at the Used Car Manager’s discretion. (i.e. Saab, Range/Land Rover, Porsche, etc.)
- Used car managers will determine if the vehicle is Select Shield branded at time of reconditioning prior to being placed on the line.
Benefits
- All dealer supplies, contracts, window decals, and buys guides are included with the program at no charge.
- Customer covered 3 months or 3,000 miles; whichever occurs first.
- No limitation as to make, year, model or mileage of vehicles to qualify (dealer discretion).
- Select Shield covers major powertrain components for customer with $100 deductible per occurrence.
- This program is offered to customer at no charge, as an additional benefit for pre-owned vehicles at this dealership.
- Gives customer peace of mind. • Dealer authorizes and approves dealership’s claims.
- Dealer determines limitations and which vehicle receives Select Shield.
- Dealer net remits claims against the current month claim remittance.
