John Montanaro was born at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, Texas, while his father served in Vietnam. He has lived his entire life in the Bay Area, spending his formative years in Sacramento and Northern California, with summers in New York and New Jersey. His diverse upbringing and early challenges shaped his resilience, independence, and strong work ethic.
John graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Psychology and American Studies and later completed a certification in Business Administration, further strengthening his expertise in leadership, finance, and strategic decision-making.
With over 30 years in automotive finance and insurance—more than half of that time with Lexus and Toyota—John has led finance operations and created an extremely profitable statewide direct mail and online auto loan refinance company with a network of credit unions. As Finance Production Manager at Finance Concepts LLC, he specializes in optimizing financial processes and driving growth.
Outside of work, John enjoys learning about industry trends, business innovations, and personal development. He has a deep appreciation for music and the arts and a passion for culinary skills, always exploring new flavors and techniques. He values strong professional relationships and remains dedicated to continuous growth in all aspects of life.
